Baystate Health, a Truven® Award–winning healthcare system and home of the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate, is searching for a Division Chief of Behavioral Developmental Pediatrics to join Baystate Children’s Hospital in Springfield, MA.
Features of this position:
Leadership position involving clinical work and medical student and resident education. Faculty appointments to University of Massachusetts School of Medicine.
Lead our team of two pediatric psychologists and one psychometrician in our new state-of-the-art pediatric specialty outpatient center which is home to 15 pediatric specialty clinics.
Provide interdisciplinary developmental-behavioral evaluations for young children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral health needs including developmental and learning disabilities, complex neurodevelopmental conditions, ADHD, genetic disorders and other special health care needs, with close partnership with primary care medical home providers. Provide leadership for the strong NICU follow up clinic in the division.
Ability to promote scholarship, including clinical, QI and outcomes-based research and to provide scholarly mentorship to the team.
Ample opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche and expand professional interests and leadership skills.
Candidates must be fellowship trained in Behavioral & Developmental Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics and have 5+ years of experience.
