Our multi-specialty group of more than 425 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region is looking to add a provider to our growing Neurosurgery Department. Our doctors provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation’s Mercy Medical Group locations throughout Sacramento.
The successful candidate will have a desire to perform a wide array of procedures, including intracranial, spine, trauma and other neurosurgical procedures. Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurosurgery. Surgeries will be performed at Mercy General Hospital and Mercy San Juan Medical Center, a level 2 trauma center and the region's only Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. Call of 1:5 is required, with Hospitalists available 24/7.
This individual will provide service in direct support of the Mercy Neurological Institute of Greater Sacramento offering a complete interdisciplinary Neurosciences team, including neurosurgery, neuro-interventional radiology, bi-plane angio neurointerventional suite, and dedicated Neuro ICU with Neurological Critical Care specialists. Mercy Neurological Institute (www.mercyneuro.org) is a market leader and is actively involved in clinical research trials and consistently setting the community standard for patients affected by neurological diseases.
