| Ranked as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals in four specialties by U.S. News & World Report in 2018-2019, Valley Children's Healthcare is expanding and seeking BE/BC Pediatric Pulmonologists and specialists with additional training in Sleep Medicine to join the growing team at the main campus in Madera, California and for two new state-of-the-art facilities, in Bakersfield, located just an hour and a half from Los Angeles, and in Modesto, situated an hour and a half from San Francisco.
One of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the nation, these sophisticated, advanced facilities will bring even more of Valley Children’s pediatric specialists closer to the families who need expert care.
Valley Children's offers the opportunity to join a team of six Pediatric Pulmonologists, the largest practice of its kind in the Central Valley. The team also includes nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, respiratory therapists, social workers and psychologists focused on treating the whole child. Responsibilities include clinical practice and active participation in the Stanford-affiliated pediatric resident training program with opportunities to be involved in clinical research.
Valley Children's is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)-accredited center affiliated with the CFF Care Center at Stanford Medical Center. The cystic fibrosis and home ventilator programs are also recognized by the California Children's Services program. The team is also dedicated to and involved in ongoing research for pulmonary disorders such as cystic fibrosis and asthma, allowing patients to participate in valuable clinical trials and other studies.
