Job Duties
Geisinger is seeking child and pediatric psychologists to provide evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and their families in general outpatient behavioral health and interdisciplinary specialty clinics. Psychologists provide a full range of diagnostic evaluation and consultative services and offer expert intervention for patients referred for a wide range of behavioral concerns, including attention deficit and disruptive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, chronic medical issues, disordered eating, and problematic health behaviors. Pediatric specialty medical clinics we currently serve include cystic fibrosis, cleft lip and palate, oncology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and our adolescent bariatric surgery program, though opportunities to develop services for additional clinics abound.
