UPMC Central PA is currently seeking an Associate Program Director to help initiate and grow our new Addiction Fellowship program located in Harrisburg, PA.
About the position:
Supports successful training of fellows in our new Addiction Fellowship program
Assists with recruiting of highly qualified fellows
Collaborates with Addiction Medicine program director on operations
Assists in hiring additional faculty to support the Addiction Medicine Fellowship program
Ensures individual faculty members meet or exceed ongoing requirements such as scholarly activity
Ensures the quality of patient care provided by fellows and faculty
Serves as a clinical and professional role model
Participates in external academic and educational programs to improve the program
Represents the program at internal and external meetings
Attends GMEC and appropriate sub-committee meetings
Monitors work environment for fellow well being
Ensures program meets all regulatory requirements at all times
Board Certification in EM, IM or Palliative Medicine
Must be Addiction Boarded
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients
Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes
Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
