Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinician for Ect--Electroconvulsive Therapy to work from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
This is a full-time behavioral health clinician position in the electroconvulsive therapy program at Morristown Medical Center. The clinician works as part of an interdisciplinary team member including, psychiatry, nursing and medicine to provide both inpatient and outpatient acute and continuation phase ECT treatment for our patients. The clinician position conducts initial ECT intakes along with our psychiatric providers, completes follow-ups with our ECT patients to determine the impact of treatment, coordinates care with our nursing team and outside referring providers. The clinician position is a vital role in the providing our patients with optimal treatment outcomes from ECT.

Job Function: 03. Review treatment plan and goals. Coordinate care within the ECT department. Interface with nursing regarding clinical aspects of care and treatment. Establish and review treatment discharge recommendations Competencies: Adult, Geriatric

Provides clear, accurate and concise reporting on patient symptoms, presentation, medical concerns, medication and collateral/family report to both psychiatric/medical providers and nursing. Actively participates and provides accurate clinical feedback during caseload supervision and departmental meetings. Age Specific Competencies: Adult, Geriatric
Job Function: 05. Demonstrates understanding of patient concerns, dynamics, defenses, and maladaptive thinking, attitudes, behaviors, coping styles. Applies appropriate interventions based upon evidenced based, best practices Assesses/monitors patient progress. Job Function: 06. Maintains and completes records in all formats accurately, intelligibly and in required time. All required documentation/forms are present and accurate. Job Function: 07. Complies with Department Business/Administrative requirements. Maintains confidentiality of patient & medical record. Completes schedules, statistics, re-certification information. Maintains accurate & timely record of insurance/managed care data and other such functions. Job Function: 08.Conducts consistent follow up with patients. Collaborates with referring treatment providers as indicated. Assists with necessary care management needs to ensure desired treatment outcomes
Job Function: 09. Coordinates transfer care for ECT inpatient referrals with crisis and the inpatient behavioral health unit.
Master's Degree in a mental health discipline, preferred LSW or LAC, LCSW or LPC
1-2 years prior behavioral health, either inpatient, emergency department, outpatient or medical floors
