Health Psychologist– Psychosocial Oncology Specialty
The Division of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking applicants for a Health Psychologist – Psychosocial Oncology Specialty to serve individuals on our interdisciplinary Onco-Psychology team in Oncology and Psychiatry. This person will join the current health psychologist in a rapidly growing, 23-member Psychology Division.
About the Position:
Provide assessment, treatment, psychoeducation, and triage to outpatients with cancer and their caregivers at our NCI-Designated Cancer Center.
Participate in interdisciplinary team-based care within the Center.
Participate in the professional education of psychology interns and fellow in our APA accredited programs, as well practicum students, medical fellows, residents, and students.
Collaborate with other faculty in scholarly activities.

Required Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program (with an APA approved clinical internship).
One-year relevant post-doctoral experience in psychosocial oncology or health psychology.
Must be fully licensed or licensable in the State of Kansas (primary) and Missouri (or PSYPACT) by the time of the appointment.
