Director, Social Work
The Director of Social Work develops, organizes and directs all aspects of the Social Work Department in accordance with social work standards of practice and current rules, regulations and guidelines, values, and beliefs that govern the institution. Collaborates with administrator, medical staff and other departments incorporating social work into all aspects of the institution. Responsible for coordination and coverage of program counseling and therapeutic programming. The Social Work Department's primary function is to ensure that the psychosocial needs of the patients are met in order for the patients to achieve/maintain their optimal level of health and functioning.
